Plan Bossy versus Ban Bossy

I think this NPR segment does a much better job than the article I posted.  I see both the benefits and downfalls in both arguments.. I think the biggest problem is that the Ban Bossy campaign does not leave room to spell that out…

  1. Ban Bossy does something weird with its message in that it doesn’t ever show that it has a direct target audience. I feel like it should be directed at men, but it doesn’t specifically show that in any of its ads. I found this article when reading the comments on the NPR page and it shows how men use bossy to disempower women:

    Plan Bossy has really cool ideas of empowering women but it doesn’t really address how women face this type of extreme harassment in the workplace, which is a huge issue.
