“Oppressed Majority” by Éléonore Pourriat

This is a minor perception of how the world would be if the tables were to turn. I think any (most) men out there should watch this and reconsider thinking a bit more when they downplay the daily encounters women have. Men in this society can be disgusting, yet most women don’t see that side because they do a great job at masking it. This is how it would be if we lived with the same gender inequalities but if the roles were changed.

What does a day in the life of a woman look like? Maybe it’s easier to see if the woman is a man. “Oppressed Majority” is a French short film by Éléonore Pourriat who uses role reversals to shine a new light on the micro-aggressions and macro-aggressions that are an all-too-common part of the female experience. The result is more thought-provoking than laugh-inducing. Just sharing this powerful video to get the message out!
